Lebanon Middle School  Literary Review

Welcome to the Museum…

You might’ve thought that you were holding the sixth annual review of artistic and literary work from Lebanon Middle School students, but this year’s review actually displays a diverse ‘gallery of imagination’: a celebration of stories and poems that paint mind-pictures, and likewise… paintings and pictures that tell stories.

Flipping through these pages is a delight-filled walk for the curious down the museum’s hallway.  Please thoughtfully pause to admire the creativity, innovation, and technique of our masterful artists and writers.

The LMS staff is firmly committed to championing student writing and artwork by publishing the best selections annually.  We couldn’t be more proud of the daring sketches, innovative visions, and expressive portraits showcased within these pages.

I’d like to thank Jennifer Miller, Lorrie Faust, Angie Hensell, Karren Perkins, Kristine Cross, Carter Harris, Sean Watson, Debra Hannon and Barb Springer for collecting the pieces for this exhibition.

I’d especially like to thank my friend Don Russell, the chief show coordinator who took time off from writing his thesis tracing the connections between Andy Warhol and Diet Coke to put this review together.  Diet Coke… Warhol… Get it?

Anyway, do come in, try an hors d’oeuvre, some bubbly, and feast your eyes upon the inspired spectacle that awaits… Tiger Tales.
